Parylene is considered by many to be the ultimate conformal coating for the protection of circuit boards, components and surfaces. Parylene is applied by a vapour deposition process. Parylene coating is truly conformal, of uniform thickness and pinhole-free. Parylene has excellent barrier properties, is unaffected by solvents, is hydrophobic and biocompatible, and has a low coefficient of friction. Parylene coatings find applications in the electronics, aerospace, defence and medical industries. Our coating service includes cleaning in accordance with IPC-CH-65A, other adhesion promoting techniques, masking and then demasking of coated parts.
